Tribute to guests in Hotel Bisenius
"On the 12th of July the 2nd Major of Traben Trarbach, Erwin Hausmann, congratulated and give a tribute award to a motorbike company from U.K for coming to hotel Bisenius over 10 years.
In the course of the last 10 years the bikers have come in a number group sizes and have been guests in this nice hotel.
The founder of the group Mr Declan McGrath, who passed away in a tragic accident was remembered by Mr. Hausmann, his family and friends with a moment of silence. A small memorial plaque was uncovered in memory of him.
A deputy of the biker group, Mr Mark Wilkes and Mr McGrath’s wife were given a certificate of thanks and a small gift of wine was presented
Everyone enjoyed a nice evening together.”

Thank you to everyone who played a part in Declan's life, we know that it has been all the richer for it. A special thanks to all those who took the time to pay tribute to Declan in some way, be it friends, family, colleagues, acquaintances. The entries on the Echo comment pages, have been difficult, and the tributes paid to Declan are hugely moving. Hugely!
In time, hopefully all of you will feel a little better. May your hearts mend and your memories stay strong. For now, lets cherish the good memories.
